swing arm. Yes I've thought about it, but I've
thought more about building one from scratch and
changing pulleys and belt. There is a company that
will make any belt you want to any specifications.
It might be easier like you said to convert a Harley
swingarm. I personally removed the shocks on my
bike and machined some trick billet struts which
lowered my tire a full 4 inches. For your infor-
mation the distance between mounting holes on the
strut needs to be 8.131 to drop 4 full inches.
However, there will only be about a quarter inch
clearance. I had to make a billet bracket and
sidemount a taillight, which I wanted to do anyway.
The ride is fine. I'm totally used to it. I have
tuned my bike and it pulls very hard. I really
need a bigger pulley!!
